Symbiosis: The Art of Kinship is a body of work by visual storyteller Simrah Farrukh and sustainability advocate Aditi Mayer — a creative partnership rooted in friendship, reciprocity, and reverence for the earth.

Over the past eight years, our collaboration has extended beyond image-making. From our earliest shoots to our most recent creations, nature has been both a subject and a silent co-creator. Our process reflects the spirit of symbiosis: an ongoing exchange of ideas, care, and intention — with each other and with the Earth.

It is the creative synchronicity of energy that dances together to grow a living archive of friendship. This body of work not only reflects the growth of friendship, but the evolution of Simrah’s artistry, and Aditi’s self.
