Simrah Farrukh is an American-Pakistani photographer and artist based between Los Angeles and San Francisco. She creates images that traverse fashion, portraiture, and a personal practice.

Simrah’s work is rooted in femininity, community and belonging. Growing up in the West with influences from her Pakistani and Muslim upbringing, her perspective brings a unique approach to storytelling that offers a safe space for third culture kids. Her work is known for its dreamy and painterly quality. With a subtle softness, Simrah unveils the intimate truths and nuances of misrepresented communities. She believes in the inclusion and celebration of AAPI, Muslim, Black and brown female voices in the industry.
