Based in the Bay Area, Simrah Farrukh is an emerging American-Pakistani photographer. Her images are a reflection of the delicate and compelling ways in which she views the world. Simrah is interested in the intersection of fashion, beauty, identity and community and how they all come together to tell a narrative. Her personal projects focus on redefining imagery of South Asians + Muslims in fashion and media. Through an intimate lens, she hopes to challenge stereotypes & misconceptions surrounding women of color.
